Fishing Season

The trout-fishing season opens from October 1st through to April 30th.
You will need to purchase a fishing license on your arrival, as we do not supply licenses.
A license costs around $75NZD.

We carry safety equipment/first aid and locator beacons on back country trips.

If you require accommodation, we can advise on suitable places to stay.

Fishing Equipment:
We recommend that you bring 5-6 weight flyrods with dull coloured (slate grey or dull green) lines. Weight forward or tapered floating lines are best. Tapered leaders from 12-16 feet are also recommended. 2-5x tippets are required.
